Has the challenge been met? ;-) Indeed - Hudson Falls is on the board.
Looking forward to the next class. I have purchased an MP3 player and intend to incorporate Podcasting into a Communications unit for my Middle School Technology Education classes. Dan

This week (1/2/07) I started having my 6th graders use the Audacity software to create introductions for their podcasts. Of course I downloaded audio files to the Teachershare drive for them to select from...trying to keep them focused on good audio clips vs. bad language...and they are eating this activity up. Of course they enjoyed 'mixing' tracks. I also have a microphone for them to record into...we actually started class by me having each of them introduce themselves and hear the recording. I might have them add to a Wiki I started 'shipwrecked' http://shipwrecked.pbwiki.com/FrontPage which came about from a colleague answering the students question on why I walk with a walking stick. We might let them do a book editing and reading. I also have set p a Wiki specifically for my 6th graders to discuss their podcast experience http://tech-knowledge-ist.pbwiki.com/ Dan V.
